SERVICES
We offer a diverse range of educational services, including academic tutoring, skills-based training, scholarship advisory, and enrichment workshops, all of which are centered on the overarching objective of enhancing both academic performance and critical lifeskills to ensure that our clients are well-positioned over time to realise their personal best.Â
Private & Group Tuition
In a teach-less-learn-more environment, coupled with the need to prioritise between tutorials, project work, co-curricular activities, and a good social life, unsurprisingly most students will struggle to strike that delicate balance especially during critical periods.
In light of the above, academic tutoring can at times be an indispensible form of learning support for students to help catch the balls which may have fallen through the cracks over time. Not so much for an encore of what has already been taught in school, but to flag gaps in understanding, revisit areas of weakness, broaden exposure, and complement structured learning at appropriate junctures.
We specialise in the below academic subject offerings predominantly for upper secondary and junior college or equivalent educational levels. Please feel free to contact us for further information.
- H1 / H2 / SL / HL Mathematics  (A Level / IB)
- H1 / H2 / SL / HL Physics  (A Level / IB)
- Additional / Elementary Mathematics  (O Level / IGCSE)
- Pure Physics / Combined Science (Physics)Â Â (O Level / IGCSE)
Learning Format
Depending on their learning needs, clients may either opt for one-on-one sessions for more customisation and a focused approach or small-group sessions for more structure and a broad-based approach
Venue
Tuition sessions are held online or at our learning hub at Oxley Tower.
Duration
Weekly sessions are 2 hours in duration to cater sufficient bandwidth for teaching, hands-on practice, questions and clarifications, quick assessments, and lesson recaps. Kindly contact us for available schedules
Methodology
Sessions will complement the student's school curriculum, with emphasis on identifying and bridging the gaps in understanding via topical deep-dives. Weak areas are typically managed by exception and rehashed where necessary. Pacing will be adjusted according to each client's inclination
Material
Priority will be accorded to supporting students in the completion of tutorials and graded assignments, to ensure a basic level of proficiency is met. Additional materials will be provided to supplement on a piece-meal basis to facilitate pick-up without additional charges
Payment
Kindly contact us for further details. Rates may vary depending on academic level and scope
Small Group Consultation
"Ask & Learn" Sessions
To cater to the needs of more independent learners who prefer a more flexible arrangement instead of good old structured tuition sessions, we have put in place a platform to allow students to drop by our learning center on an adhoc basis so as to ask specific questions they are currently struggling with and get the solutions and clarifications they need. Students will also get to learn by attempting and observing the solutions to challenging questions posed by their peers in a small-group setting. Â

Lifeskills Coaching
Amidst competition comes the need for talented and hopeful young individuals to acquire critical differentiators to place themselves a cut about the rest. Against this landscape, we recognise the importance that lifeskills play in moving our clients yet another step closer to their ambitions, over and above academic excellence, and that such growth should be facilitated through a structured learning process alike any other academic subject, instead of being left to chance.
The scope of lifeskills covered typically varies significantly between individuals depending on strategic and circumstantial needs, but generally includes a combination of the below:
- Presentation / Communication Skills
- Confidence-Building / Self-Awareness / Self-Reflection
- Organisational / Self-Management / Study Skills
- Creative Thinking / Problem Solving
- Critical Thinking / Analysis & Evaluation of Ideas
We are firm believers that though investment in cultivating personal attributes typically do not yield near-term rewards and are difficult to measure, such intangibles are more often than not key drivers for securing and protecting high-value, sustainable, and resilient forms of success.
Learning Format
Depending on the specifics, coaching may be contextualised and administered as part of the effort to enhance an existing deliverable to enhance pick-up through relevant and real-life exposure e.g. project work, interview requirement, or exam revision techniques. Alternatively, clients may request for stand-alone coaching sessions as well for general development or group training purposes
Methodology
We believe that lifeskills are best acquired and perfected through consistent and purposeful application, in contrast to the big-bang approach. Our trainers believe in leading by example as lifeskills are most effectively learnt through personal modelling, in contrast to textbook learning. We expect our trainers to be ambassadors of excellence

Scholarship & Career Advisory
Without foresight and adequate planning, it would be difficult to ensure that all of your hard work really goes into securing the right ticket for the ride of your dreams. Rather than leaving it to chance, we believe that your future should be influencing where you nest your eggs today, instead of having to make decisions for the future based on where your eggs happen to hatch tomorrow.
Our service offering covers the entire education to career transition journey from end to end, but the focus will vary from client to client based on individual needs and typically involves part or a combination of the following scope:Â Â
- Subject Combination (Personal Interests, Prerequisites, Downstream Implications)
- University & Course of Study (Requirements, Application / Interview Preparation)
- Scholarship Application (Selection, Application / Interview / Assessment Preparation)
- Career Planning (Job Scopes, Requirements, Personality Compatibility, Forward Planning)
At Putra Star Aspire, we see education as a means to an end and do our best to provide timely advice on the bigger picture to students based on their current inclinations and future aspirations, especially for those who may already have clear goals such as a dream university, a dream career, or a desire to clinch a particular scholarship. Big dreams take time and careful planning to materialise.
Learning Format
Depending on the nature and purpose, sessions could comprise a range of activities such as face-to-face consultations, sit-down assessments, hands-on skills-based training, interview dry-runs, etc. Clients also have the option of integrating such consultations as part of existing academic tutoring or lifeskills training sessions
Methodology
We believe in helping our clients chart-out future possibilities through a self-driven process of experience and discovery. Following which, the necessary coaching and guidance will be provided to ensure that our clients are well-prepared for each milestone so as to create opportunities and maximise their chances of success

- Â
- Presentation / Communication Skills
- Â
- Confidence-Building / Self-Awareness / Self-Reflection
- Â
- Organisational / Self-Management / Study Skills
- Â
- Creative Thinking / Problem Solving
- Â
- Critical Thinking / Analysis & Evaluation of Ideas
- Â

Our service offering covers the entire education to career transition journey from end to end, but the focus will vary from client to client based on individual needs and typically involves part or a combination of the following scope:
- Â
- Subject Combination
- (Personal Interests, Prerequisites, Downstream Implications)
- Â
- University & Course of Study
- (Requirements, Application / Interview Preparation)
- Â
- Scholarship Application
- (Selection, Application /Â Interview / Assessment Preparation)
- Â
- Career Planning
- (Job Scopes, Requirements, Personality Compatibility, Forward Planning)
- Â
